How to Measure Windows for No-Drill Shades
Share
Measuring is actually very simple — let us show you how!
Before you start measuring, please ensure your window meets the following conditions:
- The inside of the window frame is flat and free of protrusions
- The window frame has a square structure (If not, please contact MorraHome support and we will guide you on how to measure irregular windows)
- The window frame can withstand light pressure (suitable for no-drill tension installation)
📏 Please note the following when you start measuring:
To measure width:
- Measure the inside width at the top, middle, and bottom of the window frame
- Use the smallest measurement as your final width
- If the measurement includes 1/16" or 1/32", round down to the nearest 1/8"
- Example: If you measure 35 11/16", round down to 35 5/8"
To measure height:
- Measure vertically on either side of the window frame
- If the measurement includes 1/16" or 1/32", round up to the nearest 1/8"
- Example: If you measure 35 11/16", round up to 35 3/4"
It’s that simple! Just a few minutes for a professional-level measurement.
